*Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day the gate may be closed unless you have a prior reservation. If you would like to camp with us outside of our peak season please be sure to reserve your site in advance.
With 23 verdant acres along the South Fork American River, Camp Lotus Lodge & Campground is the perfect location for weddings, events, gatherings, or a simple getaway: pitch your tent on the soft grass, next to the river under a sky full of stars.
We strive to give our guests the unique experience of outdoors immersion while having easy access to comforts like hot showers, espresso, and a warm baked muffin fresh from our oven in the morning.
We are basecamp for whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming or fishing; or kick up your feet: read a book under our plentiful shade trees while the river hums nearby, have a beach picnic with friends, stretch out in one of our lush, green shaded sites. Or explore nearby wine tasting, Gold Discovery park, and over 100 miles of equestrian, biking, and hiking trails in the foothills of the Sierras.
Camp Lotus offers:

30 green, shaded tent campsites with drinkable water and 12 RV site hookups to accommodate groups from 2 to 50

Year-round maintained, irrigated greenbelt and big shade trees

Six climate-controlled, furnished and stocked cabins.

Riverside Bell Tent with luxurious queen bed

500+ feet of beautiful riverfront, with numerous beaches, hidden coves and a lagoon

Easy river access for upper and lower river put in and take out. Basecamp for numerous raft companies
